Elinor Shinehoft, Principal Lawyer
Known as the Nice Lawyer, Elinor is a lawyer who truly cares about people. Her honest and compassionate demeanor led to her focus on a collaborative and respectful approach to Divorce Law and Estates. Elinor prides herself on settling cases without involving courts. She has years of experience in the courtroom and can vouch that it is not a beneficial system for settling cases if you are looking to be an active participant in deciding your future.
Elinor is dedicated to innovative problem-solving that spares her clients outdated and expensive legal proceedings. Her empathy, dedication and resilience ensure that her clients achieve positive results that work for them and their loved ones so they can move forward with their lives. Elinor may even use humor at times to diffuse situations so beware!
Elinor is an Osgoode Hall Law School graduate and member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Toronto Lawyers Association, and Collaborative Divorce Toronto. She has been practising law since 2002. Interested in the personal aspect of law, and business, Elinor also obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources from Sheridan College.
